Functional Skills
Functional Skills are the essential skills needed for ENGLISH, MATHS and ICT, vital for young people and adults to participate in life, learning and work.
Functional Skills feature in most educational and training choices since they are a Government priority.
At Training Futures we employ qualified teachers to specifically teach English and Maths Functional Skills. These can be done as stand alone qualifications, and we often use them to prepare learners for Apprenticeships when they need to brush up on their Maths and/or English skills prior to undertaking a full Apprenticeship.
Funding is available for Maths and English stand alone Functional Skills at the following levels:

Level 1
Level 2
